I'm going to put this part in english as i'm too lazy to put it up in deutsch and portugues...

The Masterplan...

There are bascially two options, the first one being pretty bland: just meet up at some hotel or restaurant, have dinner, and go for a couple of drinks.
The second proposal is more worthy of a ten year jubilee, and probably what we'll do if we are enough people to help organise:

  • Meet around 17-18h at EAL/DSL on May 17th 2008
  • After the first surprising re-encounters, those interested may take a tour around the EAL. They are currently building a lot of new buildings at the site, so it has actually changed considerably in the past ten years...
  • Afterwards, we would go to dinner at EAL, maybe in the Aula or Cafeteria, depending on how many we will be. I think we could leave the organization of the Dinner to the tenth graders and pay them money for their Deutschlandfahrt. This would keep costs down and we would help some poor students :-)
  • During Dinner we could look at some pictures or videos from the abifeier, deutschlandfahrt etc.
  • After Dinner we could either try to organise a band at DSL and stay there or go to somewhere - Alcantara comes to my mind...

Who will come?

In Order to make this meeting a success i urge everyone from Abi98 to come to this event. I know many of you portuguese guys meet up regularly and don't see the need to meet 'the germans' but nevertheless it promises to be a fun event and we will definitely have a great time.
Apart from those that graduated in 1998 i will also pass this invitation on to other ex-DSL/EAL students who were in our year at least a couple of years, and who know at least some of us know. If there is someone from Abi98 or that was with us that has not gotten an invitation so far, pass it on! Then of course all the spouses and Girlfriends, Boyfriends etc... Maybe even your kids? (At least bring a picture! :-) )
Anyway, I think everyone should be able to bring at least one person, so plan ahead for all flights etc...

The Planning around the day

I suppose several of us have not been in Lisbon for quite some time, so we could meet up on either saturday or sunday and have a walk around lisbon or something similiar.Once we know who will be interested etc we can talk about this in the forums. Similiary some might want to join up on Friday evening already. But we still have plenty of time to organise things...
Those who want to stay longer, in order to benefit from the reunion, it might be better to stay the week after the meeting, so that you have already met some people. Just my 2 cents...

The Organisation Commitee

OK, we need some people who organise this whole event. Therefore we need YOU!!
I'm not sure of which areas we all have to cover, but certainly Dinner and arranging a place to party together after Dinner might be some of the things that someone might take over.
So here are some of the areas that need some covering, I suppose it's best if more than one person take over responsibilities:

Dinner (food etc):
?

Dinner (entertainment: film, pictures etc):
Patrick - ?

Party after Dinner:
?

Finanças:
?

What else, any ideas?

OK, anything else send me a mail!!!!
